She holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting and a Master’s degree in Human Rights, Democracy and Globalisation. She studied in Barcelona, the United Kingdom and Japan. She translates from Japanese and English into Catalan and Spanish for publishing houses, advertising agencies, dubbing studios, universities, and cultural and human rights foundations, and also organises literary trips to Japan. She has served as President of APTIC (the Professional Association of Translators and Interpreters of Catalonia) and as a board member of FIT (the International Federation of Translators).
She has translated classics of Japanese and English literature, from Mori Ōgai and Izumi Kyōka to Elizabeth Gaskell; contemporary adult fiction authors such as Yoko Tawada, as well as bestselling writers Toshikazu Kawaguchi and Michiko Aoyama; and more than a hundred picture books by renowned authors such as Tarō Gomi, Shinsuke Yoshitake, Jon Klassen and Chris Haughton, a field she is especially passionate about, as she firmly believes in the educational and transformative power of children’s literature. This led her to start writing as well.
Her first book,
Claudia’s Dream (NubeOcho, 2020), received the European children’s literature award Narrating Equality, dedicated to themes of equality, in 2020.
All the Kisses in the World (NubeOcho, 2025) was selected for the White Ravens 2025.
