Cadí [A Biography] is the second volume in the Fontalba collection, dedicated to biographies of mountains. This series proposes a literary journey through some of the most emblematic mountains of the country, through the gaze of authors with an established career who maintain a personal and deep bond with them.
It is a personal and literary gaze upon Cadí, woven on foot and through lived experience: a written approach to a mountain range, whose imposing presence has accompanied the author —and thousands and thousands of Catalans— over the years. Among stones, paths, forests, and mists, the author invites us to inhabit a landscape that is also an inner territory, made of life, memory, and persistence.
With an intimate and precise voice, the writing walks without haste, and the landscape becomes language.
