Irene is a girl from Sabadell who is about to start high school when her parents announce that they are leaving the city to go live in Llobarca, a tiny town in the Pyrenees. Irene is very upset, but there is nothing to do. Only eighty people live in Llobarca, with stone houses, cows and meadows, and she finds it horrible. But shortly after moving, a terrible, deadly pandemic breaks out and everyone tries to escape the big cities. Llobarca is completely isolated and for this reason it is saved. Life in the small town will hold many surprises for Irene, with the promise of a new life at the end.

A modern tribute to Pedrolo's classic Mecanoscrit del segon origen, refered to in a funny way.

A very interesting reflection on the world around us seen from the perspective of a twelve-year-old preteen.
