We can not think of a better way to start the year than with publishing news. On the very first day we have received copies of Jordi de Manuel's thriller located in Barcelona at the harbor, The Barrier ('La barrera'). A novel on violence, snuff movies, abuse of power and sexual abuses. A classic pattern but on sadly current issues and written with a temper and rhythm that is only available to the most skilled writers.

And more ... the life of the books is counted by its reprintings. That's why it is always special to hear that there are books that reach the 5th reprinting, such as Tina Vallès' Memory of the Tree, or World History of Catalonia, edited by Borja de Riquer and which, on its third reprinting only tow months after of being published.
