The ancient god existed. They were born and they reigned, and when humans stopped offering them sacrifices, they died. And now they are all dead except for Hefest, the god of fire, whom the Romans know as Volcano. Hefest is forced to live among the humans in order to get the smoke from the sacrifices that feed him. We are in the 7th century, but many, many years will pass, and this ugly and limping god will undergo much suffering on the journey from Greece to Sicily, and he will meet an enlightening group of characters.

A bloody fable about the decay of the ancient gods and the confrontation of civilizations, which has been illustrated with full complicity by Perico Pastor.
