The publishing house Cruïlla (SM) has presented its latest winners of its prestigious children's and youth literature awards:

Premi Vaixell de Vapor for  Jo, Watson i l'armari de la Jacqueline, by Gemma Lienas
Premi Gran Angular for La segona vida d'en Marc, by David Nel·lo

The jury has highlighted the literary quality, the originality and the excellent plot of both manuscripts. Both novels engage just to start and it becomes immediately a pageturner. While the youngest will enjoy and share the vicissitudes of the protagonist and her friend Watson in the streets of La Barceloneta, the eldest will be dragged by the disturbing story of Marc a babysitted kid who seams to hide a strange story from his past. Or that is what Abel, the babysitter, thinks. How can such a kid have already a past?
